In death, a SG admits his faults...

Post by ktulu » Tue Jul 17, 2012 10:30 am

A Utah man penned his own obituary. He puts in a few confessions. Disneyland is mentioned, but no real details. Too bad. I wonder if someone at DL could check this out, find out if it is true, and let us all know what he did...

Anyway, you can read the obit here:

Rest In Peace, Val Patterson, I think you learned your lesson well and this guest will not longer consider you a SG.

I think he was giving his friends a few chuckles! ;) He sounded like a very interesting man, as well as good humored...I'm sure his family will miss him terribly :(

Obviously, the death date was added posthumously. What a life he had--he must've been a real character. Yeah, I'd like to know if the Banned for Life file exists on him as well--of course, it could be one of his jokes.

Well, to be honest, I didn't see this fellow apologizing for whatever actions lead to him being "banned for life". It seems to me he was just saying, "Well, since I'm no longer around, you might as well cross me off that list". He may have meant it as an apology, but it wasn't clear.

I think he was being remorseful.

IN another article I saw on this, the wife confirmed that it was all true.

You'd have to have done something really serious to get banned from DL. Like push Mickey into the castle moat or something like that.

He ought to be apologizing the whole nation if he really rolled anything sizable into the Morning Glory geyser at Yellowstone. Stupid guests at Disney are annoying, but most of the stuff there can be replaced -- no one's yet figured out how to undo the damage tourists are doing to the geysers.
