Go to your neighborhood Christian bookstore and ask them to recommend books dealing with cults and what to do if a loved one is caught in one. There are several, maybe there's one covering the specific cult she's in. Never hurts to ask. That can help you in dealing with her, as well as what you're going through.

Watch the movie Serial for tips on how to free a loved one from a cult. Then, hire the Road Reamers to do the snatch.

Well, it didn't go well as you probably guessed since it's taken me a week to be able to talk about it. She only replied to direct questions, and then only with one word answers.

She has indicated this will continue, and that she will do everything she can to avoid speaking to me. You can lead a horse to water, as they say...

Beyond frustrated. But you just can't make someone talk to you, not even your own child.

Keep up your chin, Bru! Tell her that the talks won't cease, and she is the one making the choice as to how they go....I personally would tell her that God doesn't approve of torturing your Parents....

I'm going back to work after a week of being off due to co-worker schedule changes.....luckily i've been doing Endurance Training at DLR! Everyone, go get a Red's Apple Freeze at Cars Land, it will help beat the heat! :D:

Doing houselights for Gymnastics was fun and the Fourth of July pyro went well. Worked an arena football game last weekend (hopefully when the playoff shuffle ends, we'll get a home game) and this next weekend is a load-in and load out of the Wiggles. :)

Back from California, where we saw people, even some we know! Spent money, ate food, drank. If you've never been to Carthay Circle Restaurant, I recommend it. Just don't be like one member of our party and try to bring in a 6th "guest"! We told you, reservations for 5! I had the chance to sample a Lassetter Winery wine, now I am thinking of joining their wine club. I also sampled a 2007 Silverado Cab, which upon returning home, I found out that I do in fact have a bottle of that. I'll have to open that one up soon and enjoy it.

The glow ears work, and they work well. Except when they go off in Pirates on their own. I'm not sure if that is by design, or if they were not getting the "do not turn on" signal. Didn't try on Mansion.

If you go to the Carthay Circle Restaurant lounge for snacks and drinks, be prepared to pay almost as much as dinner. But you will enjoy it, just as much as dinner!

Thanks DLR for the memories, we miss you already!

Happy to hear Carthay Circle was great! It was Mrs. Ktulu's important day, yes? Ha, didn't think about Glow Ears on Pirates, but at least they are not blinding flashes of light!
