Doc Watson was a singer, guitarist, and songwriter whose musical interests extended beyond folk to blues, gospel, rock, and beyond. He died yesterday at age 89.
One of the interesting things in his career for me was his guitar work on "Nights in White Satin" for the Moody Blues.

Doc's Flat-picking style mesmerised me. Doc and his son Merle are reunited. Heaven is filled with Bluegrass Bliss.
