WDW Enforcing Fastpass return times...

Post by ktulu » Thu Mar 08, 2012 8:36 pm

Just saw it on the news, fastpass return times at WDW are now being enforced. Let the fun begin

Works for me. Never had much problem with following the rules anyway. BUT if you're going to enforce them ENFORCE them. Don't cave after a few knot-heads complain about "Their vacation being ruined."

Yep! We usually made it back in time, now we'll just have to make sure we do. No big deal! 75% of the time we did anyway, going to 100% isn't that big of a jump in the scheme of things.

No. Oh, hell no. I no longer visit board X, Y, Z, etc. I find that 1) the knowledge here is better if I have a question and 2) the people on those boards are, well, it's high school all over again, but worse. I'll go with the Eckersley's rule when it comes to those boards :)

So I am dying to hear how guest are taking to the new rule. Does anyone work the FP lane? I love telling guest who are in the wrong NO. I actually would love to be at the Fastpass lane and hear the excuses and rants people do when they are late.

I've always wondered how many people knew and used the "Fastpass anytime after start" routine. Supposedly it's always been "less than one percent who know about it anyhow," but percentages working as they do, half of one percent of the people going any one day is still a fair number of people.

We knew, and did use it, but the chance is no big deal.

This is not about how many people "used"it. This is the first step to the Nextgen fast passes.

For the CMs needing to enforce the rule, it's totally about how many people used it, or at least about the subset who are going to scream and moan about the change. :p:
