Good home needed
There are two sister kittens at Showcase of Citrus, about five miles north of 192 on 27. They are almost 9 weeks old now, and are in need of a good home. They have had kids handling them all their lives, and they have a great demeanor. Very playful, wonderful personalities. To go see them, visit Showcase of Citrus. I warn you, though... If you do, you will be unable to walk away without one. Personally, I would rather see them go to the same home. Any takers?
My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

Re: Good home needed
I just picked up my new kitty about 2 weeks ago - an 8-month-old orange spayed female who had been fostered by a rescue organization from the time she was a baby. She and two other kittens had been left in a convenience store parking lot, and a couple teenage girls found them and took them to the rescue group. Her name is Tinkerbell, and she was named before I ever saw her, I swear. :)
There are so many cats (and dogs) available through the Humane Society, animal shelters, Craigslist, and rescue organizations everywhere. It's so sad that we have a throw-away society that treats animals as if they don't have any value. Wallaby, thanks for trying to find homes for those kittens, and I hope you find someone to adopt them soon.

They just rescued 50 dogs from a U-haul trailer in Boca Raton a few days ago. I really don't understand people. Two cats and one dog are all I can handle.

All a matter of attitude -- yours.darph nader wrote:Thanks, but,no thanks. We've got a whole neighborhood of cats. :(

Stop thinking of it as stupid cat crap and start thinking of it as amazing free fertilizer!
Suddenly it's A Good Thing. And you don't even have to spread it. Just loosen the soil where it's most needed and let your furry friends do the rest.

BW, you know how I feel abt rescuing, so GOOD ON YOU for caring & posting this. Please feel free to post these blessed kittens on my fb. Through networking by many we can find them a safe, warm, loving home. They deserve this at very least.

Manure from carnivorous animals like cats, and omnivores like dogs and people, should never be put on food crops, due to disease concerns. Flowers and lawn are okay, as long as they don't leach into the water table or otherwise end up in the ocean. Composting them could help kill the disease organisms, though toxoplasmosis gondii can live for more than a year in untreated droppings.
