Official SGT ADD thread

A place to be entertained. Videos, jokes, games, and more.
Forum rules
At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.

Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

Home-based Health care is the only job I've had which has zero rules regarding minimum hours. Then they constantly wonder why someone refuses to drive over an hour with tolls for a total of $20 pay.

In other news: I've Survived Finals!

Time to relax and have several parties! :D:

Well they probably did, but that still doesn't explain the 2 hr. shift.

:D: :D:

If you ever stop and ask yourself: "How do they dress themselves?"
Congratulations and welcome to my world.

No, although I greatly wish it was.. at least then I'd be warm!

Banishment, or at least my version of it happens to be located about 40 miles SW of Pittsburgh, PA. Although I'm starting to think this is more like purgatory then banishment..
..Or I enjoy saying "If there is a bright point of this state, I'm in the corner farthest from..."

Why cats race to join you in the bathroom:
1. They want you to pet them
2. They want you to dangle strips of toilet paper for them to chase
3. They want to watch the water swirl down after you flush
4. They want to play with the water when you wash your hands
5. They want to bite your toes when you can't easily get away!

No toilet paper is safe in my bathroom unless I can barricade the roll. Paper towels in the kitchen have to be locked up. Cat is now also being referred to as "Little Bastard."

We have a cat that'll total any loose TP roll, and who will eventually shred those in the package, but she leaves the ones on the roll alone. We used to have a squirt bottle that was pretty easy to aim up to six feet away, so I could zap her from clear in the kitchen when she went for the one downstairs. That and hanging the roll "backwards" did the trick.

She's never had any interest in the paper towels, though. Maybe because she doesn't get on the kitchen counters and that's about the only place we have them? She chews on the empty rolls, is all.

We had an old Tom (we did have him fixed but he was a couple of years old when he showed up) who thought spraying kitchen appliances was the coolest thing. He was an outdoor cat, but if he got in he headed for the kitchen, and it was not in hopes of snagging something tasty off the counter. I understand a lot of cats treated VCRs much the same way; the VCR guy who told me that theorizes they like the warmth but that doesn't explain his kitchen appliances obsession.
