How DARE they not keep their agreement to the poor man who entered their home and threatened them with bodily harm!!!! Bad Manners on their part to leave him alone to defend himself against law enforcement, which resulted in him getting shot. The kidnapped couple should be grateful the Police didn't kill him, or his relatives would be suing them for wrongful death!

Sometimes I think we're going to Hell in a Handbasket....

Years ago I read that a convicted murderer was sueing the parents of his victim on the grounds that if they,(the parents),had not given birth to said victim,he would not have killed him.

What is the moral of this story?

Have a gun. If someone breaks into your house, you don't let them leave alive. If they escape your home after you start sending them bullets, you injure them, drag them back inside and finish the job. Then, make sure you wet your pants. That last one should take care of itself if you are a decent human being in such a situation.

If you break into my house and I think you are after the lovely Mrs. Wallaby or anyone who lives with me, I am not taking your life. You gave me no option but to pull the trigger. Why did I pull the trigger 14 times? Well, I actually pulled it 15, but on that last pull there were no more bullets.

Wait, I don't have a gun within reach? Then you'd better be sure the dismemberment clause is up to date on your policy, and I can't help that it took so long for you to bleed out.

So, Mr. Dimmick, count yourself VERY lucky that you were shot only once in the back, and that you went down before the police needed to fire again. Of course, the fact that it took a bullet to make you feel cooperative should be a hint that perhaps the world would have been a little bit better had that bullet done what you are suing the Rowleys for what it could have done to you.

My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

We all know that their agreement isn't Worth the paper it was written on. ;) Even if they had actually written out an agreement it would not be enforceable because it was done under duress. I hope whoever is the judge throws this case out and charges this guy and his lawyer for wasting the court's time.

Stuck in jail + lotsa spare time X harass anyone involved in his conviction = Law Suit!

If I remember rightly, the judge had a good laugh and the lawsuit never came to court.
