Re: Things that make you crazy!
I'd say that if his marriage was ruined in that moment, it was completely because his wife realized she was married to a broody toddler (take a moment and picture that, I'll wait).
Now that you managed to get him fired without ever talking to his boss, that is impressive and you should win an award or something.

My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

They're equipped with horns? What was the designer thinking?Teddykeiko86 wrote:1) People on EVCs that honk the horn repeatedly when stuck in foot traffic. Really? do you think that helps?
You should have strung him out as long as possible and then let him in just as the show ended. :twisted:Darksin wrote:Although I have to say my personal favorite was one man and his family, who came late to a Shamu show. The show was full and closed (also halfway over)... ...he took 15 minutes to scream at me...

Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

It helps me remember to slow down and enjoy the parks at a slower pace, complete with abrupt stops to take that impromptu photo of something. Usually works best on a crowded Main Street and that something is a window with a name that no one will every know who the person is unless it starts with Walt and ends in Disney, and even that is a stretch!Teddykeiko86 wrote: 3) People on EVCs that honk the horn repeatedly when stuck in foot traffic. Oh trust me, we had our little revenges.
Which reminds me of the best line ever heard from security!
I still haven't heard a better line yet in life then when I walked threw gate 3 one Sunday afternoon to hear this outta security:
"Hey Carrie, we had a dead body in the whale tank and the cafeteria is out of tea. Here's you keys.."
This now falls entirely into the category of "JUST GO HOME THEN".

Don't have to; had ample opportunities to see it first hand when hubby was dealing with chronic pain (but wouldn't admit it) and eldest was 13 (which in our family is The Evil Age). Hubby would totally escalate right along with her unless I pulled him up. Fortunately, hubby responds to my snapping "Would you stop acting like a 2 year old?" by walking away and not coming back until he can act like the adult. Which puts him way ahead of some of the guys I'm related to by blood, who seem to think blowing a gasket and spewing on everyone in reach is perfectly appropriate adult male behavior, at least when it comes to family.Big Wallaby wrote: it was completely because his wife realized she was married to a broody toddler (take a moment and picture that, I'll wait).

In defense of the blood relatives, they don't pull that in public or on anyone but relatives or very close friends (which latter are rarely the targets but sometimes the witnesses).

I hope said dead body was that yahoo who snuck in, and not an employee. (Merriam-Webster recognizes snuck, but StupidGuestTricks does not. Interesting.)

Actually, it's a really sad story. No blame on SeaWorld at all for it.shilohmm wrote:I hope said dead body was that yahoo who snuck in, and not an employee. (Merriam-Webster recognizes snuck, but StupidGuestTricks does not. Interesting.)

Yeah it was, someone hid in the park (supposedly the bathrooms but I've never bought that since those are checked nightly) and decided they had to go swimming with Tilly. From what I recall they suffered hypothermia then died, not from anything else. I can't remember but I don't think the lawsuit went anyplace since the park had no fault in the persons death. Either way that's not what you really want to hear when walking into work!Big Wallaby wrote:Actually, it's a really sad story. No blame on SeaWorld at all for it.

Man you kids are tough on us Canucks. We are not all that bad, if something is closed it just means I have to make another trip to catch it next time. :D:

Yes, but in the classic book "From the Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler" the kids "ran away from home, and lived in the New York Museum - they hid in the bathroom stalls that were checked each night! (and dont even tell me that this book is fiction! ;) *grin)Darksin wrote:Yeah it was, someone hid in the park (supposedly the bathrooms but I've never bought that since those are checked nightly) and decided they had to go swimming with Tilly. It does make you wonder What Were They Thinking?

Yes, but please be careful! Yesterday I saw 2 ECVs side-by-side coming Full Blast down the slope that leads from Tarzan's Treehouse to Piratesktulu wrote:It helps me remember to slow down and enjoy the parks at a slower pace, complete with abrupt stops to take that impromptu photo of something.
