This is almost as good as the soap dispenser commercials that started out about how so many germs lived on top of your pump and you were getting these germs on your hands every time you went to wash them, and so you needed an automatic dispenser that doesn't require you to touch it. That day, I decided that since they thought I was so stupid as a consumer, I would never, ever buy anything that they made. No one in my house has since.
Then, I watch all the stuff about Black Friday, and realize they have an audience...

You should watch Mad Men. Underlying all the drama is the fact that we're manipulated every day by some pretty sophisticated methods.
Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

I will do that. I've never seen it.

Mad Men is THE BEST. It's really well written and the characters are all developed and interesting. You'll be frustrated with some of them, I'm sure, but even the most evil are so fascinating to watch.
Also, speaking as a professional costumer, it has the most spot-on period costuming I have ever seen.
