Fun last week at DL

A place to be entertained. Videos, jokes, games, and more.
Forum rules
At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.

Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

Fun last week at DL

They now search all backpacks when you go in.
I was staying at the pennysleeper near the freeway, I think it's a choice motel now and I forget the name. but about every few times, I take my rats. I was leaving in thier cage in the room, but the maids were feeding them junk food all day. so, I was taking them in with me in my backpack. they got to eat whatever I ate and go on all the rides with me. I once tried boarding them at the kennel. but they wont take rats. and never once did someone freak out when one poked thier head out to look around. if fact them got real friendly too. they are real people rats. I would walk them around the motel at night on thier leashes. anywho, so I get to the gate, and they ask for my backpack, the girl sets it on the table and opens the zipper, and 4 happy rats all poke thier heads out to see whos there. the girl screams like jack the ripper has got her. and 4 scared rats all dive back into the backpack, shaking and pooping and scared to death. people were taking pictures. and my rats are not allowed back into the magic kingdom anymore. I pointed out the place is full of wild rats, and security said they cannot just go in and out with poeple as they please. so for now on, rats have to stay at the room. hmm, maybe now make a sign saying, Do Not Feed El Ratto....

Corey, I'm very sorry you couldn't take your rats in, but I understand how some people would just about have an MI at even 1 rodent peeking out from a pack  Surprise to put it mildly! Hope your Rats are cool and comfy in room, and tell housekeepers they turn into Gremlins when fed. ;)

I am not surprised they would not let them in, but it would have been fun to see the look on the guard's face when you opened the bag. I wonder how many people have taken their snakes also. If it were Florida I'd worry that your rats would get too hot or get smooshed on a ride. I guess heat is not such a concern in Anaheim.

Heat is a pretty big concern down here at DLR, too. Except ours is dry heat while WDW is wet heat.

I once made up a tongue-in-check Top Ten Reasons Disneyland is Better Than WDW. One of the items was "Still hot, but it is a dry heat."

That sounds like innuendo to me.

I thought "innuendo" was Italian for proctologist.

Oh sure, pick on the easy target. Proctologists are the butt of every joke.
