I really like the landscaping in the picture. Simple but beautiful.

thanks again everybody (and I didn't know blue was the 'flagship' train...cool ) it was my favorite when I was a child- long story there- and other reasons I picked it too cause i know it's dear to a good friend as well.

anyway, i'm all set to upload the finished pictures of the painting and...apparently blogger has lost its mind again (and everybody's pictures) geez i hope they come back. i have so much artwork up various places...ugh. will upload more step by step pics when blogger is back online (maybe it forgot to take its medication.)

for now though, i have been feeling really, really down...so tonight i worked on a little project for ya'll. hope you enjoy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_BVb4mhaPPo

of course, only AFTER i finally got these done and uploaded (two minutes ago) did i realize part of the reason that Beach Club looked SO crooked was cause i hadn't lined up the windows *smacking forehead*. so it's since been altered. she still lists- but it's not quite as horribly horrible.

i wish the quality on the videos was better (will have to try this again in windows movie maker later- much better quality it seems than the program i was using initially) and remember i filmed this on an ipod but if you watch to the end, well, something cool happens when the light changes on SSE. a trick of the type of paint i used, same as the monorail stripe.

and another 'for now' thing- the painting from beginning to end (though of course it needs the 'final' ending added now that i fixed BC's windows...with my favorite disney music of all time in there too to boot. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3U7JXv5VK2w

there is a teensy pic of the finished product up on my profile now until i can post it bigger on blogger.

night all.

lots of love and good thoughts to everybody.

Harrumph. Everybody's a critic.
I once gave my cat Yakko an ice cube in his water dish because it was a hot day. He was FASCINATED. He could not figure out what it was. He poked at it with his paw until it melted away, and then he pawed around in his water dish because it was gone.

omg that's hilarious, we totally want to try that on our cat now...that sounds totally video worthy...

Hi Bru,

Hope your headache is gone and you're feeling better today, and continue to feel better each and every day. Realistically, that may not always happen, but sure hope you feel some improvement in your health, even if it's just in a slow and steady way.

Love your painting, and that's also some of my favorite music. Uplifting, inspirational, just like you. Gives me chill bumps to listen to it.

Haven't been on SGT much lately, but am following your progress and trying to keep up with what's going on with everyone here. We'll be back down at WDW in early December and hope to pass out some hugs while there.

Hang in there and try to stay strong. You've got a big basket of "stuff" to carry around, but hopefully your load will lighten as you move along your journey.

Hugs to my favorite Blue Fairy.

Bru, totally cool picture. I just LOVE the evolution of the words. It's so cool. Somewhere in the back of my brain is the word Pentimento. I had to look it up and it's "the presence or emergence of earlier images, forms, or strokes that have been changed and painted over. " That's what your picture made me think of. And I LOVE the Epcot and monorail. I'm in awe of anyone that can make those perfect circles. Can't wait to see more.

I'm loving the color palette you chose! And delsmom said to point out to you that the Beach Club looks entirely appropriate, it looks like part of the dream!
I can't wait to see the photo on the big monitor next week when I'm home !
