It's a sign of the times. It was just discovered that Big Ben's tower has gone Leaning Tower Of Pisa. You obviously have mind melded with both structures. :D:

oooo Bru, LOVING the new picture. When it's done, maybe you can get a photograph of it to share. And a crooked hotel - half the time the hotels in my photos look crooked because that's the way I was holding the camera. Don't give it a second thought. Just keep working. Get that Disney feeling flowing throught that paint. And more prayers coming your way that the med stuff starts to even out. {{hugs}}

ROFLMAO hobie- we are definitely on the same wavelength today I just posted about Big Ben in the monorail thread in the WDW forum when talking about the painting LOL. I must have picked up more of your vibes when I flew over the islands than I realized! :D

Okay, will try to upload an in-progress pic soon cause I can't wait to unveil this one (and I'm not quite sure how it's going to end up but there is definitely sparkly detail work to be done on SSE and various landscaping that needs to be added...

let's see what I can do.

PS (((((felinefan))))) and ((((GTechgal))))) thank you so much for your continued encouragement, everyone. xoxo

okay, here you go. http://februarysfairyworks.blogspot.com ... gress.html

Please remember A) I'm still half blind and B) it's not done yet...but I just couldn't wait to show this one to you guys.

I've wanted to paint a monorail for years and always was so afraid I'd get it wrong. I kinda like this one a little. :o:

Yes, my Beach Club is all Tower of Pisa/Big Ben. Was going to give up on the painting but it's the biggest one I've ever attempted and I figure that maybe it gives it character (that's what I'm telling myself anyway.) I think the canvas is 24X30.

hope you like it. will update the blog page as I go (and will be adding more artwork there too- old stuff, stuff you haven't seen, stuff in general.)

xoxo

aww, thanks Wombat!

Now if I can just shake this headache I want to get back to working on it!

The cat won't like it though. See, this canvas is so big I'm actually painting it while it's on the wall. in a spot where his bowls usually go.

Now, I moved the bowls three times and three times i managed to trip over them/spill them anyway. That whole blind spot/no balance/I walk like Jack Sparrow kinda thing.

So I had to wash his bowls and use paper ones in the meantime. he was so insulted that i put water in a paper bowl that he stuck his paw into it...and flung water at me.

Harrumph. Everybody's a critic.

Your choice of monorail color is very appropriate too. Monorail Blue is the flagship of the monorail fleet at WDW.
