We do seem to have a lot of the same cultural references in our upbringing, do we not?

But I would've missed this one -- I haven't seen "Strange Brew." And the longest MacKenzie brothers routine I've heard is as the mooses (meese? moosi?) in "Brother Bear."

Speaking of MacKenzie brothers and "Brother Bear." Have you ever watched it with the audio commentary by them as the moose? That was one of the best "hidden treasures" I have ever found on a DVDs bonus features..
Basically, it's a 90 min MacKenzie brothers routine. It is geared toward the adults (I'm guessing they don't think kids would watch with the audio commentary) and is hilarious..
There's a great running gag about squirrels being the "harbingers of danger" in most movies.

It's a classic. My brother and I used to go around acting as the McKenzie brothers, once we even fooled a real canadian (we learned to tone down the use of "eh")
