Re: Remember kids, stay in school
Skipper Dan did stay in school. Life still failed him.
I starred in every high school play
Blew every drama teacher away
I graduated first in my class at Juilliard
Took every acting workshop I could
And I dreamed of Hollywood
While I read my Uta Hagen and studied the Bard
"A little swordplay, now and then, keeps my mind off sheep!"
"You're messing with my Zen thing, man."
"Dreams are as portals,
flat visions of misty places,
fragments bound below my surface,
but I can write dreams,
they flow from me,
inscribed but now unbound,
I touch them,
and they are real,
and they are real."
"You're messing with my Zen thing, man."
"Dreams are as portals,
flat visions of misty places,
fragments bound below my surface,
but I can write dreams,
they flow from me,
inscribed but now unbound,
I touch them,
and they are real,
and they are real."

Oh, the rant this makes me start on in my mind...
My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?
Re: Remember kids, stay in school
Occaisonally I post a reply to certain topics on Yahoo. Today I got a Yahoo Update with responses on the listeria issue. I could barely understand one person's response--misspellings, poor sentence structure, etc.. I figured out this person agreed with what I said. But come on, people--if you want people to understand what you're saying even with misspelled words, there's this little site called I Can Has Cheezburgers....

Skipper Dan did stay in school (for acting) but he is stuck in the Jungle Cruise. I guess he is hoping that others don't suffer his fate or his career path choice. The skippers on the Jungle Cruise here use the stay in school line all the time. It's funny and sad at the same time.

There is a customer service video by a motivational speaker named Bob Farrell called "Give them the Pickle." I looked and couldn't find it online, just his website http://www.giveemthepickle.com. He starts out by stating that customer service is a noble profession. Even though you might be Skipper Dan it's still a staring role. You're still important. You are appreciated.

It's hard to give a pickle when one is getting a razberry from the guest.
