Magic Carpet Malfunctions During California Adventure's 'Aladdin' Show
A cable that supports the carpet that Aladdin and Jasmine ride on during the show causing the carpet to flip over. Aladdin and Jasmine were harnessed so were uninjured. The show was ended and the audience evacuated.
Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long.

Thank Goodness they are ok! I can visualize which actors it probably happened to, having seen the show so many times. They always do a wonderful job and hope to see them up there again! :)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure Carpet does do a couple of flips in the movie so it isn't too farfetched to think the audience saw it as part of the show. And since the actors were strapped in anyhow, might as well make a real ride of it, no? :D:
Glad to know everyone was safe and sound, though.

Sigh, the carpet keeps demanding more breaks, but I didn't they they were working it that hard to where it would flip out. :p:
