I'm not sure but most of their expensive ornaments like this tend to be. They haven't released any details yet since it's not technically "released" till October.

$17.95 is about average for a Hallmark Keepsake ornament at retail. Go on eBay and search for older Hallmark Frosty Friends ornaments and Rocking Horse ornaments. First issues for both of those ornaments trade for a couple hundred bucks now.
The 20K ornament is nice but I can't wait for the Luxo Jr ornament that is coming in October! Saw it at D23 and it looks really good.

We saw that one. I want it. I wonder if I can just get Disney to sponsor our Christmas tree, it'd be easier...and cheaper!

I am a horrible housewife and I finally got my Christmas tree up last year for the first time in 5-6 years. It stayed up 4 mos. Then the kitten found it and it absolutely had to come down. There will be no Christmas tree this year because of my little flying monkey kitty, but that's just as well.

I saw the title and figured it was a jewel encrusted ornament selling for $20,000... Not a 20K Leagues ornament. Whew!
