I have decided to celebrate early. Tomorrow morning. With the PDX TSA.

Wish me luck!

Oh, and another thing that should make my trip through security that much more interesting... yesterday my brother and I spent several hours at the gun range. An outdoor gun range, in the shoes that I will be wearing on the plane, and firing several hundred shots at various targets. Outside in an action range. So much fun, but needless to say, no matter how much I showered, I am going to have residue all over me, unless they decide to test my eyeballs. I think that part of me won't have dust from the (extremely nice) gun range.

In fact, I got to fire a weapon as seen on pirate ships, too. To fire the weapon, you clean out the barrel, pour your gun powder in the chamber, cover with a musket ball, tamp down, repeat five times and you have an ancient and beautiful six-shooter that makes a VERY loud boom. Such a beautiful gun. The end of the sight toward you? You have to cock the weapon to use it. You point the gun at the target 20 feet out, and there's still no guarantee you're gonna hit it.

So I am going early, since I may need to answer questions. And I am going to do it all while celebrating the all-important Talk Like A Pirate Day, two days early. Am I asking for trouble? :D:

Isn't that on September 31st?
