Monorails shut down???

Monorails shut down???

anyone know why the monorails at WDW were shut down suddenly the other night? theres some buzz on twitter about it but no one knows why?

I'm guessing they are still having some issues with a couple of the trains. They will shut the monorails down to remove any train that is having problems. It's not too bad if they can limp it out, it becomes a bigger issue if they have to tow it out. They use the Express side beam to switch the trains out and take them back to the work shop, so if one of the trains breaks down on the Epcot beam or the Resorts beam it has to be switched over to the Express beam and then swicthed to the beam that goes back to the work shop. As you see this could take a while to do.
