There are multiple pools for the kiddies (I swear my kids are part fish) and the food court is awesome. That's the one thing that made us change from the Poly to Riverside....the food. I like the food offerings at Riverside so much better than the Poly.

Well....except for the Dole Whip. I may have to go to the Poly on the day we arrive just to get that!

Have a great trip!!!!! What weekend are you going?
Never stayed at the Polynesian. The room rate always seems prohibitive. Can't imagine staying at Concierge level either. Maybe if I win the lotto. That said we like to have dinner/breakfast there and take pictures, sit in the lobby or walk around the grounds. LOL everything but the room.

We are going Oct 14-Oct 16. Party for the Senses on the 15th.

A long time ago (over 10 years) I went to the Grand Tasting which I believe what was replaced by the Party for the Senses. It was $60(which was a lot to us then but now would be a bargain.) I had to drag my ex. He didn't want to come. Got to the hotel room. He had changed his mind and didn't want to come again. I had to throw a fit to get him to go (paid a lot of money yanno!) and he went and loved it. Awesome food and some really nice wines. Haven't been to anything like it since. I know one wine vendor got annoyed because we were "drinking not tasting" but who cares.

Next Friday, Saturday, and Sunday(Oct 14-16) we will be headed to WDW. If anyone local would like to meet, send me a PM. We're not horribly interesting but we do like meeting new people. Hell I'll even buy you a drink.

Can you stuff that in the mail for me? :D:

Our trip isn't until 9/24-10/8.. in 2012.
Considering the cold snap we had all of last week, I've been kicking myself for NOT going to Orlando for our yearly escapades.
Wow, I can't honestly validate spending the money on a Disney Resort. Not for the length of time we're in town for. Besides, it takes me a year to save up for what we happily blow threw in two weeks (Epcot is like Kryptonite to my checking account).

...you don't even want to KNOW what my bar bill at Food and Wine is!
So have a Singapore Sling for me and enjoy the trip!

If no one steps up, I'm game. The wife and I always enjoy going to the parks. I could even wear the SGT polo that I recently acquired. ;)

Just a friendly bump to see if others are interested in meeting. I have October 14 penciled in on my calendar. PM the Donut Goddess for more information.

Interested. Very much so. Just have to make sure of a few things on my schedule... and that could change in an instant with stuff I have going on. :(

My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

Our last visit 10/11 was at AKL. I really love that resort. It's my new favorite.

The wife and I had a great time. Good company, food, and sharing of stories. We'll have to do this again some time. :D:
