LMAO. I just spit my Dr. Pepper all over my keyboard!!!!
I am a member over there, but try to keep my distance. My personality does not mix so well with those people (they don't get my wierd sense of humor....oh well, their loss).
Anyway, I may have to check out RCT. It sounds fun, and theraputic. I didn't know you could drown your guests or go peep bowling. Sounds kinda....interesting.
As for shooting games, I actually like the one for PS3 called Shoot. I can't play the ones like Black Ops (my son's favorite game right now)....I get headaches after just a minute or two of watching him play. And I love the Tomb Raider games. I love them so much, I kept my PS2 just to play some. I know, I'm sad. I also like old Atari games that I play on the PS2.

Future psychopath? Maybe, but with a little guidance she could become a top-notch anti-SG enforcer. :D:
My ex liked to play one of the Sim games and make homes without bathrooms.

Outhouse kinda guy?
Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

Very much in the same boat with you there... Board X CAN a good place for info IF you can sort through all the insanity... which most people don't/can't/won't, so they end up either drinking the Kool-Aid or drowning in it. Thus as a whole it does far more harm than good. And NO, they DO NOT have warped senses of humor over there.
Lots of interesting info in this thread. I hope some of these things come to fruition! An updated-to-21st-centruy-tech Imagination Playground would be an amazing thing. A long visit there was one of the highlights of our WDW trips when I was a kid. Hell, a light pen would even still amuse kids today! And think of all the cool toys Apple could put in there if they were the sponsor... yes, I like this idea.

All this talk about RollerCoaster Tycoon has made me want to dig up my copy. I haven't played that game in forever.
Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long.

I think he decided that he was going to see how unhappy he could make his characters. He wouldn't let them sleep and he would remove the toilets and they would jump up and down and try to yell at him until they peed their pants.
Could you imagine if Disney decided to charge for toilet stalls? People like me who can't go for more than an hour without having to go to the bathroom would be in trouble. But then I guess there would be a lot of unhappy guests and that wouldn't be good for business. Better to charge them for something else.

Apparently, they just raised the price on soda by 25 cents. From what I've been reading this is a sign that Disney doesn't care about its customers and that the extra quarter will keep people away from the parks.
Maybe they're really just trying to save on water and toilet paper?

All bottled drinks (at least the ones my shop carries), except for water, went up a few days ago. They didn't even tell us, we found out when we rang one up. Annoying since all the time someone asks us how much a soda costs and for a lot of us in my area it's habit to say the price without checking. $2.55 for a Coke was bad enough, $2.74 or whatever they ring up for now is even worse. At least it's not as bad as the movie theater, $4.00 for a bottle of water at the Pleasure Island AMC last time I was there. It's the exact same water (20oz Dasani) you can get in the parks for $2.50 and for a buck and some change at the grocery store!

Well, in my RCT Park, I charge a 10 cent fee for every use (contemplating jumping it to 20 cents). I use it for extra revenue (IE, better attractions/more staff)...but it is a simulation game, not real life. And there are some countries that have "pay toilets," so apparently the idea has been toyed with and in some places is used in real life.
Never got much into The Sims though. Seems a little sadistic when you describe it that way . xD
RIP Bud Hurlbut.
You will be missed.
