I can't do the alphabet backwards when sober ! Maybe I could when assisted by a few beverages!

When I did my advanced scuba course we had to do a deep air dive. part of the module involved doing a timed math problem at the surface, then again at 130'. THis is to show how the nitrogen impairs one at depth. Unfortunately I got the question wrong both at the surface and at depth. And it was more incorrect without the nitrogen narcosis than with !

Funny this should come up... I was at a wedding last night where two guys, on separate occasions, waaaaaaaaay too drunk, when told they'd had enough each did the alphabet backwards, quite quickly.

I think maybe you actually have to be drunk to do it.

The bartender should have told him that he doesn't use that to test sobriety, and start giving them the same set of tasks the Austrian Police required in the movie, The Man With Two Brains.

The Bartender's not the one who thought they had enough... that was us friends of them telling them that. One of them had lost all physical coordination and was still trying to dance with girls he didn't know and the other was pouring candle wax into his hand and then squeeling like a wuss while explaining Discordianisim... badly. Then we had to physically remove them from the roof, because they wanted to "prove" that it wasn't that far down.

You've gotta love college drinking ! Reminds me of when my little buddy (4'9") started going up to everyone in a bar in Chicago , asking if they had any blow to sell. He thought that everyone in Chicago was a dealer, and wanted to prove it ! We were in a COP bar! He didn't even use the stuff, he was trying to prove a point. We quickly hustled him out the door and into a cab, and never went back! That could have ended very badly for him !

He thought that everyone in Chicago was a dealer, and wanted to prove it ! We were in a COP bar! He didn't even use the stuff, he was trying to prove a point. We quickly hustled him out the door and into a cab, and never went back! That could have ended very badly for him !

I saw a tour group leader this morning at ToyStorry Midway Mania. She was without her tour group, but had a stack of room keys and her flag on a stick. She was arguing with a manager type (blue denim shirt?) and the cm was holding her ground saying no. Whatever it was, the tour group leader was very agitated, but kudos to the cm for standing her ground. My guess is that the room keys had not gone through the turnstiles, as there was a noticeable lack of tour group kids at the running of the bulls at rope drop, but this lady was one of the first there at the fp machines.
