why does disney insist on breaking the california vehicles when it come to emergency lighting and security vehicles

Why are Californians so crazy about the law? Everything is a violation of everything else.

Does Disney break California vehicles? How do they do it? Do they hire people to go around with crow bars and a flashing light on their head?

Because Disney is DISNEY and they bring a lot of tourist dollars into So. Cal so they can do anything they want.

Disney is like Apple in Cupertino. If Apple left there would be nothing left but tumble weed rolling down the streets.

When I worked for Apple I was managing a conversion of telephone switching systems. The new system required all new inter and intra cabling. The cable project manager screwed up and told the underground construction company to cut across the edge of a parking lot that belonged to a Chinese restaurant. I got called and arrived to find the owner screaming bloody murder. I told the construction guys to fill the trench and put down a good asphalt patch. Not good enough.

A week later our general counsel called to find out what happened. We were being sued. The filing was really pretty nasty. The lawyer and I talked it over and he said he would talk to their lawyer and tell him if the suit went forward Apple would tell their employees not to patronize the place. Their lawyer said go ahead, we don't need your business.

A week later he called back to plead for forgiveness. Apparently they did about $100 of business for the week. Our general counsel said not good enough. We'll need a ten percent discount for a month for all of our employees. That was some good Chinese. ;)
