SGT get together Aug 23 or 24?

The SGT logo needs an update, you should be able to zoom in on that coaster vehicle and see the people sticking their arms and legs outside of the vehicle, and in the back row, someone standing up, using the seat belt as a lasso :D:

Since I will be at WDW at the end of August, for a nice long visit, I would love to get together with any of you SGT regulars who are interested.
We are staying at BLT, so I'm proposing a get together for a small number of us (I think I can take 6 guests up) at the Top Of The World lounge late one evening, either August 23 or 24. Perhaps at a time appropriate for Wishes, or after the fireworks crowd has cleared out (10:00pm ?).
I will need to know who all is able to join us a few days ahead, and can have my friend who is also at BLT escort a couple more people up if we have more SGTers.

Consider this a BDOSGT sanctioned event !

That's my understanding. AFAIK the only way to get into BLT is to be a registered guest of BLT. Not just anybody can get inside let alone into TOTW Lounge.

Plan B is to head over to the bar at The Wave at the toaster, a wise bird tells me it is very nice. Or we could head for the tiki bar at the Poly.

Lets aim for the 23rd. I've only heard from BW, Joanna, and Shorty so far. Anyone else coming please PM me for details.

I thought you had to be a registered guest to go up to the TOTWL.

You have to be a registered guest *at* Bay Lake Tower (not just Contemporary), and be a DVC member, and be staying on points to obtain access to the Top of the World Lounge.

That said, such qualified guests may bring a "reasonable" number of guests up with them. The definition of "reasonable" being determined by the cast member on duty in the lobby, and depending in part on the number of guests already in the lounge. (And also attitude.)
