Don't illegally park your car in Lithuania

A place to be entertained. Videos, jokes, games, and more.
Forum rules
At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.

Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

I will DEFINITELY keep that in mind when I am there the next time.

I also see that it happened two days ago. The threat is real, and it is recent.

Look how hands-on this guy is! Even sweeps up after himself! Did you see the look on the owner's face when he saw his crushed car? Then the mayor comes up, shakes his hand and tells him to park his car legally next time. Wouldn't happen here, though--you crush the average American's car, they're gonna sue you and/ or attack you. Blog nasty things about you, sell their story to the gossip rags, etc.. They'd milk it for all they can.

Unfortunately, not all is at it seems. AFP is reporting that it was a staged skit filmed for the Swedish television programme 99 saker man måste göra innan man dör (99 Things You Must Do Before You Die).

Local authorities are quickly reassuring everyone that people illegally parked vehicles will be towed and/or ticketed. Shame, I personally think a Tank Patrol would be a wonderful addition, lol.

Aw dang, and here I was hoping for an M1A1 to roll through the streets before the street-sweeper.

Either way, that was a hilarious skit.

I figured it was staged, which is why I didn't say something about them utterly destroying a citizen's property, when towing would do. Otherwise, it wouldn't be funny.

How else could you get the cameras, lighting, audio, tank and other equipment in that fast without the someone inside noticing, and word getting to the owner before he could come out and try to stop it?

Could that be related to an Orange Crush?

Nope. A flash mob.
