WOW! Your dog has a signal to tell you when to shoot someone? Smart Dog!! I would suggest giving him the gun next time. ;)ktulu wrote:"... quite frankly my german shepherd was getting a little tired of fighting with him and giving me the signal, so yes, he did need shooting."

I'm perfectly fine with shooting someone who is breaking in. But that's a whole different thing than raping them after they've been subdued.

Exactly. The law (typically) allows one to defend one's self and others if threatened. It does, however, limit it to defense, and one is not allowed to inflict punishment.shilohmm wrote:I'm perfectly fine with shooting someone who is breaking in. That certainly takes all the fun out of it. :D:PatchOBlack wrote:Exactly. The law (typically) allows one to defend one's self and others if threatened. It does, however, limit it to defense, and one is not allowed to inflict punishment.

Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

Shorty.....Joanna can back me up, but I believe a L&O: SVU episode was about male rape. It showed how the detectives were spilt on whether or not to believe the guy. It was actually kind of sad, I thought, because here is this guy, pooring his heart out, claiming he was raped, and the one detective was practically laughing about it. And I am sure that's how it works in the real world, too, not just on TV.
