That is sad.
I checked on him on wiki and it said he was directly involved with Hot Wheels. Now that was my favorite toy. I had orange track spread all over the living room. Over couches, under side tables, down the recliner. The tricky part was to get up enough speed to go up the next incline without flying off the track.

Barbie dolls always were fascinating for me,every little girl back then wanted to BE her! Used to go past the Mattel Building in Hawthorne,CA. as a kid,wanted to work there....and Disneyland! ;)
