Tonight's the night! I will be on GMC's "America Sings" tonight at 9:00 Eastern time with the Vocal Majority, on this new TV singing competition.

Here's the channel locations I know about:
DIRECTV - Ch. 338
Time Warner Cable - Ch. 145
Verizon FiOS - Ch. 224

If you don't get GMC, you can still watch our competing video on YouTube -- just follow this link!

Please watch and then *vote* for us here: http://www.watchgmctv.com/sing

Cool, thanks! They chopped up our performance quite a bit, cutting out about 2/3 of it, so I hope it was enough for the audience to "get it." Still, it was great to have the exposure -- for us and for the other amazing quartets and choruses that have been featured.

Even if you missed the show, you can still go to http://www.watchgmctv.com/sing and vote. You can also see short clips of each performer there. We'll take all the votes we can get!

ETA: Now that our appearance on America Sings has aired, I can start promoting our next appearance, an hour-long special of patriotic and inspirational music on the Daystar Network on the Fourth of July. It airs three times during the day: 12 noon ET/9am PT, 9pm ET/6pm PT, and 1am ET/10pm PT. (This is the one I mentioned was recorded when I was out of town on vacation, but it'll still be good -- almost as good as if I were in it!)

This morning the hubby and I clicked through the show, and we stopped at the Max Q performance, and then we clicked through again fast forwarding to the VM.

Me:"Honey look over here in the right corner in the back. That's Wombat!"

CLBeilby:"You're right! He /is/ the tallest member of the choir!"

:D: Yay! You spotted me!

I'm actually not the tallest in the chorus -- there are a couple of guys with an inch or two on me. One of them (nicknamed "Stretch," naturally) is probably the tallest performing member, and he's skinny so he looks even taller. But we also have a rookie member, not yet riser-qualified, who makes me look tiny. He's 7'2" and over 500 lbs.

That is not a typo -- I barely come up to his shoulder. He calls me his "Mini-Me." :D:

TIME CHANGE for the 4th of July airings: The "Celebration" show featuring VM is now supposed to air at 6:00 am and 11:00 am on Daystar.

Also, if you don't get Daystar, you can watch it live at this link!

I'm thinking photo opportunity.

NEWS FLASH: We just received word that the Vocal Majority is a finalist on America Sings!! There's no more voting, but we will be featured in the final show on August 17 on GMC, in a "Top 15" countdown to announce the winner. Thanks to everyone who voted!
