Us comfort people walk the Mall where I live,or walk the local college's track-it is actually cushioned! Do have to avoid the real athletes running it,but that's exercise too, jumping out of the way. ;)
Wish I lived next to DLR, I would walk there every day! :)

I also had to eat for all those starving in the world, but weight never was an issue. Was always very thin, until now. Am 115lbs & would love to shed abt 20lbs. Hate to excersize so will just complain forever.
D M, I do a lot of walking @ DL but all I get are sore feet. ;)

I'm in the same boat but mine mostly comes from having 18 years of ballet brainwashing effecting my brain. I weight a whole 124lbs and will randomly get neurotic enough to "diet". I know there is nothing wrong with my weight, it's healthy and you can't see my ribs for once in my life.. but I still haven't beat the voice of ballet teachers screeching "Your fat, loose ten pounds now!" in my head. Pricks!Main Streeter wrote:I also had to eat for all those starving in the world, but weight never was an issue. Was always very thin, until now. Am 115lbs & would love to shed abt 20lbs. I was always taught "don't take more then you can finish" so unless it's something I really like, I take tiny portions if given the option. It aggravates me that you order something at a restaurant and it comes out on a plate bigger then my head! So more often then not, I'm carrying around take-out boxes.
A "Human Garbage Disposal"? I live with two of those! I refer to them as "Husband and Father". It's not uncommon to hear "Hubby/Daddy, Finish this.. I'm full" around here! ;)
Oh, I forgot! I proved it again! Snarfed down chicken fingers, fries and a soda then hoped right onto Thunderbolt at Kennywood two weeks ago! I still have a hard time believing other people can't do that, I've been doing it since I was a kid and never really thought it was a talent. I'll have to put that on my resume now! :D:

Re: What Has Food Done For You?
I'm trying to get down to 125 lbs...and I was doing just fine BEFORE the accident. And then I had PT and that seemed to help....now, I'm just being lazy. I have about 13 lbs I need to shed before I feel "right". Besides, those 13 lbs screw with my sugar something horrible.Main Streeter wrote:I also had to eat for all those starving in the world, but weight never was an issue. Was always very thin, until now. I have an elliptical at home....I just need to get on it more.

A friend has a stationary bike but it didn't start out that way.DragonFox98 wrote:I have an elliptical at home....I just need to get on it more.

Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

I started buying healthier food, and now I'm a near slave to the bathroom. Don't spring a surprise on your guts if you're over 50, folks....
