Yet another tale of the ones who give passholders a bad name...
At the Disneyland hotel a passholder checks into her room (at the AP rate) then goes to the park... a few moments later she comes back to the hotel upset because it is a blackout day for her SoCal pass.
of course we explain to her that she could purchase a blackout ticket for $25. But no, since she's staying at the hotel (at the AP rate) we owe her Complimentary tickets or she'll be checking out.
She checked out... and as the hotel was fully booked and we knew we'd be able to sell the room anyway (not at the AP rate) we didn't even charge her the cancellation fee.
isn't that special?
Whaddya mean it's a blackout date?
Whaddya mean it's a blackout date?

You should have charged that passhole the cancellation fee as well as a stupidity fee especially since the cancellation fee is policy.(?)Thatguy wrote:Yet another tale of the ones who give passholders a bad name...

Yeah, wouldn't the maid have to remake her room a 2nd time for the next guest? Charge the fool!Wizard69 wrote:You should have charged that passhole the cancellation fee as well as a stupidity fee especially since the cancellation fee is policy.(?)
she never got to her room (as it wasn't ready when she checked in at 9am)... we were overbooked and needed the room anyways (as that guest was paying $125 more. so we actually got $125 of the deal. so we offered to let her go without a cancellation charge before she asked...
though for the record I did want to charge her.

unfortunatly I was not the one to check her in, so details like that I don't really know.
and yeah I found it odd that $25 was too much for her to go in...
maybe she took the money from the room to go to the park? who knows?
