See You Next Month

I am going to a convention in Orange County in June so naturally, I extended my stay for a couple of days to see DL and DCA.

I'll try oh so hard not to be a stupid guest, but sometimes my smart aleck nature just springs to the top. So if someone asks you if your sales cart goes upside down, or what time the 3:00 parade is, or something equally inane, it is probably me. Probably.

I'd say it's probably you when asking if the sales cart goes upside down, but from what I can tell, asking what time the 3:00 parade is is fairly common. :D:

I'll try and stay at Rancho... Don't know where I will be but I'll let you know... Line picks for Foods is coming up for the Summer Season. Whee!

Totally excellent! I look forward to riding it.

Also, did I mention my wife's SGT? When I first talk about the LA trip, I ask her what she wants to see there. She replies that she's always wanted to see Monterrey.

Sigh.

So naturally, our trip now starts in LA, and ends in SF.

The Ghirardelli Store at Downtown Disney has a special - buy 4 large chocolate bars and get the 5th one free. My sister came home with a suitcase full of G bars. (Well, I exaggerate, but only a little). ;)

I'm holding out for the much cheaper ones at WalMart, even if they don't offer all the flavor varieties available at the G Store.

Years ago there was a small restaurant in the Square named the Bratskeller. They served shrimp boiled in beer. I'd go there eery time I was in SF. Sadly, they closed without warning.

I wonder if Darph has the recipe?
