TIA...BTW this is my first post here! Have lurked a long time.
Don't get discouraged. I interviewed about the same time last year for Casual Temporary. My start date was Memorial Day weekend.

Wow! Thanks for all the great welcomes...really feelin the love!

And now....

I got a call this morning!!! So very excited. I was offered a position in DTD at WOD. Did I say excited yet? :D:

Are merchandise roles available to pick up at other locations after you're trained? Could I for example pick up a shift off the HUB in MK even though my location is DTD?

Congrats! Welcome to the Disney family from a fellow Merch CM (at DAK).

That's one of the best parts of being Merchandise trained is that you can pick up shifts at nearly every shop across property and even in some food locations (though you'll only be able to work the registers there AFAIK). I've personally never worked extra hours outside my statused area but know numerous CMs that have and have met CMs from all over property when they've picked up shifts in my area.

When do you start?

Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long.

We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things, because we're curious…
and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.

Congrats! Enjoy the adventure (and do the EHH! It's fun to visit the other locations).
