Knotts Bringing Back Beary Tales?

At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.
Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

Sorry Dr. That would be a list of original opening attractions that are still there! Seems you counted your chickens before they hatched. :rimshot:
RIP Bud Hurlbut.
You will be missed.

Actually the Dr wasn't too far on the fowl part (I dig puns). One trip through the CDR kitchen was enough for me. I just can't eat the stuff anymore.

Is that good or bad?drcorey wrote:yeah, I don't know who does the fastfood service at DLR now,

This also reminds me of an old Letterman "Top Ten" list, the Top Ten Things That Will Get You Kicked Out Of Disney World. Specifically, number 4 on the list: After biting into snack bar sandwich saying, "I taste mouse."

The Church of Reflections was moved outside the park because worshippers had to be escorted into the park by security, and it was a long hike as well for the mostly elderly worshippers. But to put it behind a chain link fence and not have it available to those who wished to see it the rest of the week is horrible.
Independence Hall is a scale model of the original in Philadelphia; it's so accurate that when they were restoring the original, they came out here to look at Mr. Knott's plans for his version!
Yes, I agree, tearing down the Original Berry Stand and removing the boysenberry bushes was blasphemy!
I asked a coworker once about the Mission displays; he said they are in storage, but in poor condition.
Some people should not be allowed to run amusement parks. I understand that when Mr. and Mrs. Knott were alive, and up until Cedar Fair took over, employees were very well treated. Now they treat them like crap.
