Hahaha... so do I! I picked up the habit off a friend with a Tom-Tom... and oddly amongst our social group, it's proliferated so much that it's just the accepted term for a GPS. "Hangon, I gotta program my bitch," or "Wait, are your bitch and my bitch going to take us different ways?" or "Hush so I can hear the bitch!!!!

Yes, but then I either have to hold the unit in one hand while I drive, referring to it entirely too often for safety, or SWMBO has to do so (without accidentally touching the screen and reprogramming our destination as happens every third trip), and read me the directions soon enough to do any good.
This is also not a formula for a relaxing drive. :(

You *really* don't want to get me started about how Amtrak stopped running the Sunset Limited between Orlando and New Orleans because of Hurricane Katrina and *STILL* hasn't resumed service!
I've also got a whole 'nuther rant about Florida's governor and his whole "I don't want any free money!" approach to rail finance. You don't want to listen to that one either; trust me.

Florida's loss is California's apparent gain.
Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

Sorry to ruffle your tailfeathers, Zazu. ;) I remember reading some of your rant about the Sunset Limited awhile ago, and I can just imagine how you feel about Scott's decision to turn down the money. Just so..... frustrating, isn't it?

God knows we need it! 101 days with Jerry, so far he still keeps my vote. Go for the money Jerry.

I'll post notice here once I see what the dates are likely to be.

When I use the GPS on my phone, my fiancee has nicknamed the voice "Eva", because it sounds similar to Eve from Wall-E, and my phone is an Evo. (The voice on my standalone GPS has been nicknamed "Janet", mostly to have an excuse to yell "damnit janet" everytime it gives bad directions)
Speaking of bad GPS directions ... I'm surprised Shorty or Lady U haven't yet mentioned Wallaby's iphone, in the middle of I-5 near Anaheim ... "Make a U-Turn"
