At the old Disney Hyperion Studio, the screening room where animators would show animated scenes to Walt for his approval was small, with no ventilation or AC. Not only was it hot, but the animators were nervously awaiting Walt's reaction to their work. Thus, the room became known as the Sweatbox. Even after the Studio moved to Burbank and elegant screening rooms were offered to the staff, the moniker remained.
Now SGT has a sweatbox of our own. This is the place to find and post all entertaining topics such as video links, jokes, games, and the like. A general rule of thumb is that if the thread is meant to be informative (interesting news stories for example), or a topic for discussion (like setting up a park meet) then it should go in the Break Room, but if the intent is to entertain the masses then it's home is The Sweatbox. I'm sure there will be grey areas at times, so if you have doubt as to where a new thread should go, just use your best judgement and the SGT Staff will be glad to move it later if you guessed wrong.

Stuff That Makes You Go Duh
I love horror movies.
so I was watching something the other night,
one of the return of the living dead, I think,
so some zombies are on motor cycles chasing people,
and they are all, Wearing Helmets...
and I think, what are they afraid of, killing themselfs?
they are already dead. DUH!

Helmet laws apply to everyone. :D:

Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

Helmet laws in Florida mean they could go au natural.
My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

"au natural" nude, as long as they wore helmets (I'm assuming on their heads)?

Naw, I'm just referring to their heads being au natural. Kinda like mine. Could someone pass the turtle wax?

Okay, ready for me to overthink this completely? :cat1:
These are clearly not "Romero"-style zombies. These are the classic movie-type, where they generally lack any intellect. The fact that these zombies were driving motorcycles indicates more like the "Russo" zombies, where the zombies retain at least some of their former intelligence, and can be capable of speech and complex physical actions, at least until their brains and bodies start to decompose. This sort of zombie could wear a helmet and ride a motorcycle.
Now, in some of the later Romero movies, the zombies were shown to start to remember some of their previous lives. However, they were far from being able to do things such successfully drive a motorcycle. Mostly, they seem to be "aping" their former behavior without understanding why they were doing what they were doing.

In the ROTLD movies, it's a chemical the goverment made. I forget what is was suppost to do, but it killed people then brought them back to life. I think it was suppost to be a defouliant. Trioxin 5, or something.PatchOBlack wrote:Okay, ready for me to overthink this completely? :cat1:

Oh, I am familiar with the "Return of the Living Dead" movies, though I haven't really watched them. That is where the "Russo"-type zombies come from. In addition to the difference in their behaviors, the ROTLD zombies can't be killed by removing the head or destroying the brain. Also, individual body parts will remain animated when separated from the body. You can kill them using fire, but that causes the chemical to go up in the smoke. Next rain storm will bring it down and start the whole problem over again. However, electrical shocks will kill them as well as rendering the chemical inert.drcorey wrote:In the ROTLD movies, it's a chemical the goverment made.
