My friend, Gina, is having a tough time right now. She just found out that her mother, who has a brain tumor that was in remission, relapsed. To help her get through it, she entered a contest to meet her favorite band, Hanson. Whoever gets the most "likes" on their comment on radio station's facebook status, wins a meet&greet, and two tickets to see them perform at the radio station.

haha, no, you can even pretend it was for another band. And thank you! I really appreciate it. She's just a little upset, because she didn't get to sign up for it right away because she was in the hospital with her mother, and feels like she would have had more of a chance if she had more time.

I would call up the radio station and let them know what is going on. I know several stations love to do something heart-warming like that.
My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

Even though my friend didn't have nearly as many votes or "likes" as the top person (who got over 600! I have no idea how!) the radio station decided to take the top 3 because of the overwhelming response to the contest, and she was third. So thank you to those of you who voted! (if they hadn't done that, I might just have called)
