Pray tell how do I go through Special Needs when DRC refuses to allow me to speak to them? I get the distinct impression that the DRC CMs just what to get through your booking as quick as possible and be done with it. I get it. They have a quota per shift that they need to meet and those of us with Special Needs take longer. Thing is I do need to be able to get my power wheelchair into the room and I do need to be able to get into the bed safely and not by climbing on a chair.
For the last 5 or more years DRC CMs have said that they callled Special Needs and it is set up for me. Problem is when I get the confirmation it is never noted, when I call back I am told it shows on the computer, but when I arrive I find that it hasn't been done and I have to fight to get the accommodations I want and the front desk CMS are not cooperative so I have to ask for the manager and even then it has taken 3 or 4 changes of rooms for me to actually get a room that is accessible for me. And because I am also hearing impaired each problem requires a trip back to the front desk since calling by phone is not going to be an option and relay calls have been refused in the past.

oh, Lilo will LET us block 6 days out. But it's so slow, it takes about 3 hrs to properly block 1 day (a good room assigner using DPMS could usually get it done in 30-45 minutes), so as a result, resorts are usually blocking 1-2, maybe 3 days out, rather than the 4-5 they used to block.
Now, if we could find someone to modify Uberblock to work with a Lilo expected arrivals report, the time could probably be cut down somewhat. Kurtis, how are your excel VBA skills?

Why board X of course! That all wise, 100% accurate fountain of Disney park knowledge.....wait no, that should be the great Zazu who is the all wise, 100% accurate fountain of Disney park knowledge!
Board X on the other hand

is misinformation central most of the time, as we all well know! And is demonstrated here once again!

Not as good as my Access VBA. I feel very sorry for the DRC QA team who have to use the monster I created last fall to score calls.

Ah, Excel with VBA! The things you can go with that. You should see the tool I put together to plan a multi-family trip. Tracking who is going to do what and who owes money to whom. Lots of fun. :D:
