Refurb question about splash mountain

SM is being refurbed - i think the whole of critter country is until May 26th. is there any chance that this could be opened a week or two early?

There's just no way of knowing though in my experience attractions rarely, if ever, early from refurbishments. Work is scheduled right up to the end of the refurbishment.

thats because board x just "knows" that you would cover it up if it opened before the scheduled date! :rolleyes:

I heard something about lap bars on SM at WDW, but can't confirm it. Can some one shed light on this?

Yes, Splash Mountain now has lapbars. They were installed during the refurbishment in Jan
