"Green" Money
So Vending recieved quite a few counterfeit 20s tonight. I was able to get a look at some back at the office and might I just say that if I was ever going to make my own money, I wouldn't make it BRIGHT green. The entire bill was practically green. *sigh* Moron.
And the biggest thing I don't get, is how each churro wagon had 3 or more of them and security still couldn't catch the guy even though he went back multiple times!
*shrug*

Me: "Yeah, I just made a crap load of money today!" Gadget: "You mean 'crud load.' Me: Yeah, sure whatever.

"Oh just keep the whole thing. I have more where that came from."
"A little swordplay, now and then, keeps my mind off sheep!"
"You're messing with my Zen thing, man."
"Dreams are as portals,
flat visions of misty places,
fragments bound below my surface,
but I can write dreams,
they flow from me,
inscribed but now unbound,
I touch them,
and they are real,
and they are real."

just like shopliftingobservations we are not supposed to take the law into our own hands and just except the fake money and then inform our lead and they can call security. they don't want any emberrassing scenes when cm's THINK it'a fake but isn't and then the guest is accused of things. happens a lot in city hall with fake money.
there was also this one guy, actually a group of people that would steel credit cards from people at old folks homes, come to disneyland and buy small things, paying with $100 bills getting change back in disney$ and then by the end of the day come to city hall to exchange all disney money to "real" money and then have random serialnumbered bills. it took us a while to get behind that sceem but we always called security when they came and they nailed them in the end. it was just sad, when i had to exchange the money first, knowing where it came from...

It's funny how in the university they teach you how to tell a counterfeit bill from a real one ("feels like jeans not paper"), but then doesn't give you the chance to actually use that knowledge.
When I was there we were asked to check for IDs before accepting any credit cards. When a man gave me a credit card and an ID with a different name I took it to my manager. He used the excuse it was a company card but there was no company name on te card. My manager at the time just told me to let it go. If it was approved then it was no problem.
Side Note: Who are these people who are allowed to charge a vacation for themselves and thier family to the company and get away with it?! It pisses me off sometimes.

In all fairness, sometimes a company issues a credit card so that the employee can charge business expenses without having to pay out of pocket for them and then wait until being reimbursed. But when I had a corporate card, the company did not pay the card, only the companies expenses. Sure it had my name on it and the name of the company I worked for, but they used my ss# to get the card and i was responsible for the timely payment of the card.
They would immediately send a check for the legit expenses, then I would pay the minimum plus what the company sent and then submit the bill showing that this had been paid....
