Re: My Trains! (lots-o pics)
At least they are doing something to care for their locos. Even if it's not taking care of them themselves...
My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

True. It baffles me though. The only thing I can think of is that Cedar Point doesn't have enough space to work on them. Knott's has a enough track to where both of the big boys and the Goose can sit outside while they do work on a coach or another loco. The railboys @ Knott's know what they're doing, too...so maybe it's a decision of putting the refurbishment in more capable hands.
Jennie K was delivered one year ago next month, and Cedar Point stated it'll probably take about a year to get her in running order. Turns out she hasn't operated since 1988 (yikes). I'm not sure if they'll send Albert to Knott's, since that loco needs new drivers and new framework.
In other news, the Ernest S. Marsh locomotive (#4) has mysteriously vanished from Disney (well, it vanished a while ago...). Rumor has it the loco is being overhauled somewhere out in Fresno. Hasn't been worked on like that since it showed up @ Disneyland in 1959. New boiler, new cab, and new paint job are some of the things I heard will be included in this overhaul.
