... Sailor take warning.
We're expecting rain today.

I'lll take rain any day. We had snow this morning (last night actually). Snow and Atlanta don't mix. Lovely sky photo though.

Except last October. I'm not a fan of the Burger Bowl as a swimming pool.
What is absurd is it is in the 20s right now down here... I feel sorry for the cast that has to be at MK till at least 3am.

I dug my car out of 10 inches of snow this morning. At least they say it was 10 inches, but I think it drifted on the cars.

Surprisingly, we had a beautiful day yesterday in West Maui because the south end of the island caught the storm. They ended up with mud slides that blocked a number of roads.
Kauai and Oahu have flash flood warnings through Tuesday.

That reminds me, They filmed a couple of episodes of my favorite show "Mantracker" on the Big Island not too long ago.
Not sure exactly when, "Mantracker" is a Canadian show that they show repeats of on the Science Channel. I know those 2 shows (from season 5) first aired in sometime 2010 in Canada.
Science Channel gets the new ones a few months later.
It's an awesome show, with great scenery of Canada (usually) or where ever they are filming..
If anyone is interested:

Sounds kinda like when the Xterra competition is run in South Maui. Part of it is a 24 hour trek up and down Haleakala. A friend partnered with an Aussie because of his superior map skills. Obviously, they got lost. It's 3 AM, they have no idea where they are, they're in the far reaches of nowhere, and they stumble into some guys camp site.
He wakes up and after exchanging some pleasantries, he gives them directions on where the finish line is. They mention they ran out of Power Bars about four hours ago and are bonking so he gives them a loaf of bread which they promptly devour.
With the directions and loaf of bread behind them they go on to win the race. Go figure.
