Chaos On Christmas Day

Post by DLRFantasmic!Dan » Sun Dec 26, 2010 7:50 pm

Well, not really, "Chaos" I'd say, but the day was eventful with things happening and things start to go wrong.

Summary Of Chaos On Christmas At Disneyland:
1) "Small World" Closed At Opening.
2) Trash Can Caught On Fire. It Is Later Put Out.
3) Starts To Rain Before World Of Color.
4) Audio Gets Cut Out In The Beginning Of World Of Color.
5) World Of Color Gets Cancelled!
6) Guest Complain Because Of The Tram. They Are In A Hurry And Have No Patience.

Oh, I forget to add that there was a power outage on Christmas Day in New Orleans Square, closing Pirates and Mansion.

As I recall, the day after Christmas was even worse than Christmas! Anybody got any stories from today?

"Excuse me, are those ducks real?"
"Yes, sir, but the water is fake."

I'd figure today's even worse, since we hit capacity at both parks and all.

RIP Bud Hurlbut.

You will be missed.

Yes, it was definitely worse than Christmas Day and quite frankly, I'm now terrified of New Year's Eve. This is the busiest Christmas season I've ever seen.

MK Christmas Day went all the way to Phase 3. All other parks were Phase 1 with no phase 2 implemented. Though technically EPCOT should have hit Phase 2 at 15:00.
