And, they don't have the Marsupial Welcoming Committee. Or a smiley like this:

:sgthello:

And if they ever do, I am going to go over and raise hell. I mean, if they take that one that was made by our own BRWombat.

Just sayin'.

Thanks for the big welcome. Very cool graphic.

Don't worry about them stealing it. Too much back stabbing going on for them to think of it.

I work in health care. I wish we had a place like this to vent. Oh, the books we could write if it wasn't for the damn HIPAA laws. Also have a very close friend that owns resorts in Branson, MO. Seems SG are everywhere! If you ever want to branch out to non-WD places, I'm sure he'd be in.

Anyway, hello TeamUBR, I am the resident dragon you were warned of and would like to offer you a very warm* welcome to that slice of the internet we call SGT. This website contains threads with quick twists and turns and I would like to advise you to not try to hard to keep up with them. Please keep your hands, arms, and legs safely inside the website at all times and enjoy your stay.

*this instance of warm is actually hot**... very hot

**this instance of hot means that you are now literally on fire, I would like to take this opportunity to apologize for any inconvenience

UBR: We do have a board for other theme parks. We'd love to get some fresh stories!

I did see that thread. It seemed nutty to me, but at least she seems to try to call with a valid question. I admit, I like making reservations over the phone vs. online, but that's just me. I wouldn't call them just because I was feeling blue.

Calling them just to chat does seem a bit rude, to the person on the phone, and those who are trying to get through the system so that they can make their reservations.

I'll let him know. I've spent a lot of time down with him and I would usually go out with him on the late night SG calls... Amazing what people will do or try when they are away from home, but I'm not telling you anything.

I understand the OP's sentiments. The attacks after the initial comment are what was rediculous.

I've been reading through posts on here and that's what impressed me. No matter how cynical (I am one) the person or how "stupid" the trick, nobody seems to attack anyone else.

Finally a board where people have common sense AND a sense of humor. (Don't worry, I won't tell anybody) ;)

I used to drive Disney buses. You might be amazed at some things I have seen, and there are others here who have seen much more.

That is because we mods are fair but brutal. Now, I get to use a violent smiley here. Oh, which one to use? Okay. I'll use several. We mods use these on each other several times a day in the Mod Lounge, just for practice.

:angrymob: :acidbath: :bikehit:  :boil: :bomb: :choke: :feedback: :electchr: :funthing: :flamethro :driveby: :godzilla: :fridge: :voodoo: :brazilia: :machine: :sharkbait :snufomat: :tgv: :xformer: :buttkick: :guilloti: :laser: :steamroll: :chipper:

All the violent smilies depicted here represent things we've actually done to those who were banned from the boards. You do *not* want to get on our bad side. Since so few have been banned, it was really bad for each of them, and much of what we did counts as :deadhors: abuse of a corpse. Sometimes we will call in the :flybongo: flying bongos that shoot their quills, and if you're really bad I'll :rufus: show up to the forum nekkid.

We keep the :trolspra: at the ready at all times.

But in all seriousness, I call this site the back deck of the theme parks, so we do like to keep it friendly. Very friendly. :buttkiss: But not THAT friendly. And sometimes not family friendly. To that end, sometimes we bring in hired help: :flasher: :chipenda:

So enjoy your stay at Stupid Guest Tricks. If I didn't offend anyone with this post, I guess I can get away with anything I want to say, right?

Please note, no past forum users were injured or killed in the making of this post (sorry to Shorty82 who was maimed a couple times for testing purposes), though your brain cells will be if you read it the whole way through. I guess I should have put this at the TOP of the post. Oh, well. Too late now.

And now you know what happens when wallabies get tired and punchy.

Grumpy,

I'm a hospital administrator and I race sports cars... I have a pretty thick skin from my ER and ICU days. I have a Nomex fire suit AND Nomex underware, so flamings don't bother me much. I should be able to handle my self.

Big Wallaby,

I am truely impressed. Keep up the great job moderating. :buttkiss: You have a nice place here... Now if you have anymore of these.. :flasher: I definitely stick around for awhile. :)

Credit for the smiley brigade goes to Zazu. I asked for our Violence Smiley selection to be the biggest, and he made it happen.

Requests for additional smilies -- violent or not -- should be sent to me via PM. I'll usually grab requests from posts, but will miss some that way.
