Oh, don't tempt me with the outfit! (Last year for Halloween, I made her an Amish outfit...nothing like seeing a little Amish girl trick-or-treating. That really blew the neighbors' minds.)

I have to agree...that has been a pretty harsh reaction. I'll bet it would be cute as long as the parents stay out of it.hobie16 wrote:Come on guys, she's three years old. Give her a shot.
It does make you all sound like kid haters...not very Disney Magical!

Re: Question for Haunted Mansion workers!
I think this a very subjective question:
If there is a lull in the ride, and the cast member seems to be receptive, then I see no harm in letting the 3-year old sing. On the other hand, if the line is backed up, and the cast members look, well, dead on their feet, probably it is best to save the show for another time.

Aren't they suppose to look that way? :D:PatchOBlack wrote:... and the cast members look, well, dead on their feet...

Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

Re: Question for Haunted Mansion workers!
I think I may have worded my original question wrong. It's been a few years since I've been to WDW, but I sort of remember, outside of the Haunted Mansion, someone standing by either a hearse, or a black carriage, or something like that. They weren't inside the attraction, but rather outside as you approached it. We would never want to interrupt a CM during the attraction itself...I was just wondering about the CM that stands outside and looks creepy. (Or have I just misremembered???)

I bet he or she might be more receptive if not otherwise occupied. The male CM in that position actually stopped my 6-year-old son -- it was his birthday -- and I on our way out of the Mansion to sing to us. He volunteered to sing the "Haunted Mansion version of 'Happy Birthday'" to my son, which turned out to be him "Bom bom ba-bom"-ing the Funeral March. :)ricegirl25 wrote:I think I may have worded my original question wrong.
