Like me. Earlier this year I thought I was going to lose my job, so one of the first things I did was buy an AP voucher. (At WDW. They don't expire.) :D:

I didn't lose my job, and I avoided the annual price increase. Win, win, so to speak.

Back to the original topic, I've begun to see a great number of people with an "I'm entitled, and if you don't give it to me you're a bad person" attitude. Feel free to replace 'bad person' with any other descriptor you may think of ...

Yeh, I get a lot of those. I always try to accommodate, but the second I can't? I suck. I'm stupid. I'm bad at my job. I just kinda brush it off anymore.

It's just their way of saying "Thank you for trying."

RIP Bud Hurlbut.

You will be missed.

Oh yeah!

If I am not yelled at by guest at least once an hour, I must not be doing my job right.

Do I have Guest Communication cards? YUP....is my name printed already on the back for them...YOU BET! :D:

I think that I may get a free Castle stay with all the letters I get saying that I do my job right. Well, that is what the managers read in the 'hate letter" from the SG. :p:

For about a year there, I should have had several as well.

Except I WAS horribly mean a couple times.

So glad to be getting past that aspect of that time.

And I get the distinct feeling that if mapo is mean to a guest, they certainly have it coming. :D:

My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

Thanks BW!

Yeah, I have been called horrible and mean by people. *sigh* You gotta love how mean people think you are when you "ruin their vacation" by not letting them have/do X, Y or Z.

I was mean this week by making a SG get off the lamp post.

I was horrible when I fished some SG out of the lagoon for fireworks.

I was a 'big ol meany' when I made Whoopi disappear before a pro autograph hound could harass her for more autographs.

I was a ***** (sounds like witch) when I would not let guests stand on top of a woman having a seizure during a performance.

Or when I told other guests that was "no show here" when a child cracked open her head after standing on a railing.

and those are the nice comments I got this week.

Yeah kurtis, I am mean and horrible. But those guests and Whoopi were safe for a few more moments.

BUT I am a gem to Guest Relations when they see my Guest Communications card in the SG's hands. (Well that is what the Duty Managers say at least). Saves them time and trouble -- they can move on to other guests who need real assistance.

FYI: a Guest Communications Card is a business card for contacting Disney to express your opinion, either positive or negative, to the WDW Corp. There is no phone number on it. There is a snail mail address or email address for your usage. Typically, Guest Relations, Guest Services, and leaders have them for distribution to guests. We all try to resolve the issue on the spot if we can. Some SGs are never satisfied; they get the card.

That's what I thought. Basically, if you have one of those in hand, you are likely a SG.
And I love mean and horrible security on party nights at MK aiding me in ejecting unreasonable aggressive guests.
