It's still a great flick.

Watching Airplane! now in his honor, and hope to find and watch Forbidden Planet later tonight. :(

Leslie Nielsen was a pleasure to work with. I worked on an awards show he hosted or presented at several years ago, actually it must have been about 10 years ago. Backstage he was always ready with a whoopie cushion and the fake bark to try and catch an unsuspecting crew member. It was a bit like having a 14 year old boy on the loose backstage, as the pranks were almost always played on the people with the least sense of humour. He seemed to believe it his mission to "fix" all the overstressed serious people. He was very approachable, a quality not always present in comedy actors !

He will be missed by the entertainment industry big time !

"Yes, sir, but the water is fake."

Bummer. He was hilarious. I remember hearing about this when I was on lunch last night. A lot of us who knew who he was were bummed out majorly. :(

RIP Bud Hurlbut.

You will be missed.

Thank you. The theme to the series is part of a collection of Disney music I own, and was sung by Mr. Nielsen himself as well.
