I am new here and have been reading your SG accounts for a few weeks. This is my first post and I'll do my best reporting my SG incident.
I have a C5 spinal cord injury that's twenty years post. I am dependent on my electric wheelchair for mobility. Well we were in Epcot on Jan. 5, 2010. It was freezing the high was 45. Everyone in my party except my 3 year old nephew left to go to the hotel. He and I got in line for the finding nemo ride and half way threw a CM pulled us out of the queue since we need the wheelchair clam and we would hold up the line waiting for it. Someone in line chose that moment to yell " no fair they get to cut the line". Before I could explain my nephew turns and says "we have to wait over there for the wheelchair car so Aunt Samantha can ride with me and sometimes we have to wait longer than anyone else. But if I want to ride it I have to wait like a big boy cause I'm too little to pick Aunt Samantha up like daddy does". Most of it was part of the if your going to stay with me speech I gave him before his parents left him with me. The SG that said that walked by us but won't make eye contact.

That is precious. What a precocious child.
"Excuse me, are those ducks real?"
"Yes, sir, but the water is fake."

Yep that's our Cam. The CM was great and told him he must be a prince since he protected the princess (me) from the meanies. Then when we boarded the ride he turned into a little boy again and asked the CM for a flashlight. He found out on Living with the Land that CMs have flashlights on dark rides ( he's very scared of the dark without his daddy).Ms. Matterhorn wrote:That is precious. What a precocious child.

I will be your guide for this magical journey into the movies. It's the perfect job for me, because I love movies! Is everybody ready? Great, because it's showtime. Ready when you are, CB!
