Celebrate A Street Party Will Not Be Down for Breakfast

Post by Purpura » Fri Nov 12, 2010 11:49 am

The Parade is over as of last night. Today starts the Holiday Parade, and next year there will be a new parade. I heard this from a few friends I have in the Parades department.

And the world rejoiced at the notion of that awful parade never returning again. Whew.

RIP Bud Hurlbut.

You will be missed.

I was talking with Lady Ulrike last night and she told me that the CMs were so happy that Celebrate was leaving that they were holding a potluck and someone brought in a cake reading, "Celebrate! R.I.P!"

Attractions:
Rocket Scientist at "HISTA"/ Astro Orbitor,
Space Ranger at Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters

Phew! Maybe people will actually be able to navigate throughout the park now!

I too am glad that the Street Party will be gone.

To be honest, I thought that it was kind of fun when it first premiered. It was to tie in with the Celebrate/birthday promo thing. But then it got old real fast.

I am looking forward to seeing the Christmas Parade again and then seeing the new parade in 2011.

Was way beyond time for Celebrate to leave! Hearing & seeing it twice per day + not liking it was not highlight of my day. Have seen rehersals for Christmas Parade & am thankful the "Parade" we deserve begins in a few minutes. :) :tree: :elf:

Please don't send it to us. We're tired of getting your hand-me-down parades (although, we're very happy to have the MSEP back)

Is this the same thing as the "Move It! Shake It! Celebrate It!" parade at the Magic Kingdom? Or the same concept? I know someone who's in that parade, and I had also heard that it's the highest-rated daytime parade they've had in a while (other than the 3 o'clock parade, where no Guests can determine what time it starts :D :) I haven't participated in said parade, but it seems like fun if you've got folks who are really into it.

Have no clue, but MK please don't bother sending us Move it! Shake it! Celebrate it! Sounds just too close to parade we all prayed would go. No more block parties for DL. We have suffered enough.
