I've left attractions.

Post by Shorty82 » Wed Oct 20, 2010 4:14 pm

Due to circumstances I won't go into I've been forced out of attractions. I'm back to merchandise will be starting at Animal Kingdom hopefully soon. The situation was finalized today and the paperwork is being processed. I just have to wait until I hear from my new area's scheduler to find out when I start training.

Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long.

We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things, because we're curious…

Shorty, I'm really sorry to hear that you're out of attractions. Is this something that you wanted or was foisted upon you? I know that you were pretty good at your job on Main Street in merchandising. Is moving over to DAK a good move for you?

I already figured that. At least I won't have to work late unless I want to.

Shorty!! WTH? Forced out does not sound good.....and I was so looking forward to seeing you at It's A Small World (my family love that ride....yes, I know, we're sad). But, like MAPO said, earlier days will be good. Best of luck with the new position.

Yesh! It is beginning to sound like if I ever do get the chance to visit WDW, by the time I get there, all the folks I know from here will be gone, or at least out of sight! Sad, just sad...

Even if the change wasn't something you were looking for, I'm sure things will work out well for you. And as you pointed out, at least you won't have to work late unless you choose to.

*hugs* Shorty...hope that the move turns out to be a positive step for you in the end. You know I still have never been to AK yet next time I'm down there maybe you can give us the nickel tour! Or quarter (you have to plan to spend big in Disney right?)
