That's a shame. He was a fine actor, and his fatherly tone has set a high-mark for several real life dads, I'm sure.

Thanks for the memories, "Mr. C".

I just saw this....and am very sad! I always liked him. Does anyone else remember that "Father Dowling" series (or am I the only one cause I was forced to watch it)?

Too bad. First, Mrs. Cleaver, then Mr. Cunningham. I guess they are together in that big sitcom in the sky.

"Yes, sir, but the water is fake."

And let us not forget that Bosley originated the role of Maurice in the Broadway production of "Beauty and the Beast".

I've been looking at his history on IMDB and IBDB, and he has been a very busy boy, playing everyone from Ben Franklin to Jimmy Hoffa (inclusive). The man has well earned a long peaceful rest.

Glad I got to see him doing Cabaret on Broadway. It was a surprise, and he was great, but I kept expecting The Fonz to jump out. He was the icing on a great performance.

It was a few years ago, but I believe he was Herr Schultz and owned the cabaret or something.

This was my first time seeing the musical in person after many years of watching Joel Grey in the TV commercials singing the famous song. Had no idea what the show was about.

Needless to say, I'm sitting there having a great time enjoying the happy, happy show, "hey, Mr. Cunningham!", great times, great music...

Then the whole twist just ruins my day and I'm like "that's just fshucked up." and depressed for the rest of the day. I guess that's the sudden twist they tried to capture when that country went down the drain. Little hints and an out in the open political party that grew stealthily stronger until boom.

Totally worth the tear-jerking to see the show and hear the title song though. Friggin nazis just have to ruin everything.
