:O One More Week
I'm driving down to the mouse in California next week on Wednesday(That's right, a week from tomorrow!). I will probably be in the park for a couple of hours Thursday morning before heading over to wait in line at the convention center, then of course Friday and Saturday I will be attending BlizzCon. Sunday I will be at Six Flags Magic Mountain in the morning and will be back at Disneyland that night through Tuesday and driving home on Wednesday and doing the character breakfast at PCH Grill Monday morning(most likely). If you would like me to attempt to find you shoot me a PM and tell me where and when to look.

Are you taking your costume?
For some reason I'm fascinated with your other persona. It sounds so.... interesting. Really! :)

I will not be taking a full costume as I don't yet have one(it's in the works though), but I will be taking one of my tails...I just need to decide which one... :p:Whazzup wrote:Are you taking your costume?

If it's a tail you'll only be able to spot him after he's already in. ;)darph nader wrote:You'll be EZ to spot goin into the park then. ;)

Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

Re: :O One More Week
And I am home from my trip and back to work, I never got the chance to meet any of you...at least not that anyone would admit. My tail got a lot of attention from a couple of CMs. One of note was on Soarin' after getting seated and buckled in, she came around to check the belts and noticed it sticking out asked who's tail it was before giving it some quick pets :p: .

Re: :O One More Week
Trip Report...kind of:
Wednesday 20th: uneventful, long drive to Anaheim.
Thursday: Hung out at DLR for most of the day. I wore my tail on Splash Mountain in a log with at least 1000 lbs focused more towards the back giving us a nice wall of water soaking us. The weather was not so nice so it wasn't a good thing. I later returned to the hotel to dry off before picking up my BlizzCon badge.
Friday and Saturday: Spent the days in the convention center enjoying BlizzCon. :p:
Sunday: Went to Six Flags Magic Mountain in the morning, didn't wear my tail because of the tight security. Only went on a few roller coasters because someone in our party got motion sick really easily. Then returned to the hotel room to relax a bit and I put on my tail before going to DLR to meet my parents and a couple more friends which brought the total party size to 14
. Watched Fantasmic without a dragon, it was really weird. Any word on when it will be back? The fireworks started soon after so we stayed put for that, could barely see them. Got back to the hotel room wet because it was 'raining' for the only time on the trip.
Monday: Had a character breakfast at the PCH Grill with a 2 year old. It was funny, he was a bit timid around mask characters, but it was better then before when he would cry at them. Then went to DLR and got fastpasses of World of Color; got the yellow section :D: . Just kinda hung out around the parks, taking a break at the hotel room for a bit before getting to World of Color. I enjoyed the show, but thought it was too long. There were a couple sections I thought they could get rid of without hurting the show. Returned to the hotel and had another friend who happened to come down visit us. He was visiting the parks as well, and got good comments on this "Trapped in a Human Costume" shirt.
Tuesday: Got fast passes for World of Color, again in section yellow. This is the day I got all the comments on my tail. This includes the Soarin' tail event. We also went into Innoventions where a CM commented on it, he looked familiar from another trip. It was a pretty uneventful day, but I enjoyed World of Color again, closer to the water than Monday night. The yellow section seemed to fill a lot faster than Monday night as well. After the show I returned to the hotel room and got packed up.
Wednesday: Another uneventful drive home so I could get back to work yesterday.
Unfortunately, about half of the BlizzCon party I was with picked up mild colds at the con...including myself. :( Hopefully I can get over it over the weekend.
